Applications are now open for the MEST Africa Challenge (MAC) 2025, a premier Pan-African pitch competition tailored for early-stage technology startups with ambitions to scale. Spearheaded by MEST Africa and powered by Absa, the annual competition is offering a compelling opportunity for young tech companies to win $50,000 in equity funding, gain access to influential networks, and pilot solutions with leading corporate partners.
This edition of MAC targets startups operating within key African markets, including Uganda, Ghana, Kenya, Zambia, Mozambique, Botswana, Mauritius, and Seychelles. Finalists will pitch live to a distinguished audience of investors, corporate executives, and ecosystem leaders, positioning themselves for visibility, credibility, and new partnerships.
“MEST Africa Challenge is not just a competition; it’s a gateway to unlocking commercial success, investor readiness, and long-term impact on the African continent,” says the MAC 2025 organizing team.
