CMA Marks 30 Years Through Maternal Health Campaign
The CMA said its decision to co-host the Corporate Run is part of its 30th anniversary activities and reflects a broader commitment to contributing to the wellbeing of Ugandans.

“As we mark 30 years of building Uganda’s capital markets, we chose to celebrate by looking outward,” Tukei said.
She added that supporting mothers and protecting lives represented a meaningful way for CMA to give back to society, describing investment in people and the safety of expectant mothers as a significant form of capital.
Corporate Run Targets 5,000 Mama Kits
The 2026 Corporate Run is centred on raising funds for 5,000 mama kits.
The kits are intended for distribution to health centres across Uganda, with particular attention to underserved communities.
Organisers are encouraging companies, institutions, families and individuals to participate either by running, walking, sponsoring the initiative or mobilising others to join.
Participants can purchase running kits through MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money or the official online registration platform at corporategamesug.com.
Corporate Run Welcomes CMA Partnership
Corporate Run Chairman Ian Rumanyika welcomed the Capital Markets Authority’s involvement in the fourth edition of the event.
Rumanyika said CMA’s decision to link its 30th anniversary to the maternal health campaign demonstrated the significance of partnerships between institutions and community initiatives.
“For an institution marking 30 years to stand with us in this way sends a powerful message,” Rumanyika said.
He added that the partnership connects CMA’s anniversary with efforts to promote safer deliveries for mothers across Uganda.
